Soho House Event: Hashizra & Tel Winery - Wine Entrepreneurship

Soho House Tel-Aviv Jaffa meets “HaShizra” and Tel winery on March 23, 7pm.

HaShizra is a social organization promoting gender diversity in the fields of wine, culinary, spirits and hospitality in Israel. The community was founded by Tal Tauber Gottesdiner, as a mean to develop and increase female presence in the wine industry and therefore to promote the Israeli wine culture.

Tel winery by Lital Ovadia, is a “one woman show”: from the vineyards, through the winery to promotion and management. Since the first harvest in 2019, the winery specializes in varietal wines from single vineyards, located in the north of the Golan Heights. The limited production and high demand for Lital’s wines makes them especially difficult to find outside the winery and a small number of restaurants.

Lital and Tal will arrive to Soho House Jaffa to share their stories as social and agricultural entrepreneurs. We will also have the special opportunity of tasting some of Lital’s wines, under her guidance.
